(Işık University Press, 2025-12-01)The Traveling Salesman Problem is the famous optimization problem in the NP-hard class. Many problems with applications in computer science and engineering can be modeled using the Traveling Salesman Problem. In this study, ... -
Ordering tetracyclic connected graphs having minimum degree distance
(Işık University Press, 2025-12-01)Degree distance is an important molecular descriptor which has gained much attention in the recent past. It provides valuable insights into the connectivity and properties of molecular graphs, making it a powerful tool in ... -
Coefficient bounds and Fekete-Szegö functional problem for a new subclass of m-fold symmetric bi-univalent functions
(Işık University Press, 2025-12-01)This paper introduces a novel subclass of m-fold symmetric bi-univalent functions denoted as Sh.pΣm. Precise coefficient estimates for terms |am+1|, |a2m+1| and the Fekete-Szegö functional are derived for functions belonging ... -
C³ quartic quasi-interpolants over a 6-direction mesh
(Işık University Press, 2025-12-01)In this work, we are interested in constructing quasi-interpolants in the space of splines S³4 (∆₆), where ∆6 designates a triangulation of a rectangular domain generated by a uniform mesh with six directions. Firstly, we ... -
Realization algorithm for defining fractional order in oscillating systems with liquid damper
(Işık University Press, 2025-11-01)In the paper the problem of defining the fractional order in oscillating systems with liquid damper. Firstly, the equation of the object is reduced to the Volterra integral equation of the second kind with respect to the ... -
More on continuous and irresolute maps in Pythagorean fuzzy topological spaces
(Işık University Press, 2025-11-01)The new dimension of non-standard fuzzy sets called Pythagorean fuzzy sets which can handle the inaccurate data very strongly has been established in recent days. Even though intuitionistic fuzzy sets were generously used ... -
Wiener and Harary indices of Mycielskian graphs
(Işık University Press, 2025-11-01)Let G = (V(G), E(G)) be a graph, where V = {v1, v2, . . . vn}. Let V′ = {v′1, v′2, . . . , v′n} be the twin of the vertex set V(G). The Mycielskian graph M(G) of G is defined as the graph whose vertex set is V(G) ∪ V′(G) ... -
On some families of linear diophantine graphs
(Işık University Press, 2025-11-01)Diophantine labeling of graphs is an extension of the prime labeling of graphs. In this manuscript, we introduce some necessary conditions for determining whether a given graph admits Diophantine labeling or not, and if ... -
PMC-labeling of prism allied graph, pendulum graph and cog wheel graph
(Işık University Press, 2025-11-01)In this paper, we investigate the PMC-labeling behavior of some graphs like pendulum graph, hexagonal circular ladder, cog wheel graph, triangular wheel graph, double crown-wheel graph, crown-triangular wheel graph, Hn,n, ... -
The k-binomial and Catalan transforms of the k-Leonardo numbers
(Işık University Press, 2025-11-01)In this paper, we investigate the binomial transform and the Catalan transform of the k-Leonardo numbers and examine the new integer sequences. We apply the k-binomial, rising k-binomial, and falling k-binomial transforms ... -
A labeling approach to vertex N-magic weighted total graphs with vertex-odd values
(Işık University Press, 2025-11-01)The current text discusses the concept of odd vertex N-magic total graphs, a novel idea in the realm of vertex N-magic-type graphs. This idea is defined by N- magic with distinct degrees and identifies odd vertex labels ... -
New approach to evaluate the failure probability of a k-out-of-n system under harmful shocks
(Işık University Press, 2025-11-01)This paper introduces a novel approach to calculating the failure probability of k-out-of-n systems under harmful shocks, which occur randomly and affect at least one component. Traditional methods for this calculation ... -
The first Zagreb index, the forgotten topological index, the inverse degree and some Hamiltonian properties of graphs
(Işık University Press, 2025-11-01)Let G = (V, E) be a graph. The first Zagreb index and the forgotten topological index of a graph G are defined respectively as Σu∈Vd² (u) and Σu∈Vd³(u), where d(u) is the degree of vertex u in G. If the minimum degree of ... -
Fractional Cattaneo equation with a harmonic source and associated thermal stresses in axisymmetric and central symmetric cases
(Işık University Press, 2025-11-01)Integer and fractional order Cattaneo equations with a source varying harmonically in time under zero initial conditions are studied in the axisymmetric case and the central symmetric case. The integral transform techniques ... -
Chaos and complexity in a four-dimensional system with hyperbolic tangent nonlinearity and no equilibrium
(Işık University Press, 2025-11-01)This paper introduces a new four-dimensional (4-D) dynamical system composed of only seven terms: four linear terms, one nonlinear term involving the hyperbolic tangent function, one absolute value function term, and a ... -
Adaptive boosted estimation for single-index quantile regression
(Işık University Press, 2025-10-01)We propose a novel boosted estimation method for single-index quantile regression (SIQR) that combines the robustness of quantile regression with the flexibility of gradient boosting. By modeling the conditional quantile ... -
Signed sum cordial labeling of graphs
(Işık University Press, 2025-10-01)The notion of signed product cordial labeling was introduced in 2011 and further studied by several researchers. Inspired by this notion, we define a new concept namely signed sum cordial labeling as follows: A vertex ... -
